Tristina Cole
Tristina Cole is a dedicated legal professional, providing unwavering support and guidance to our clients. Her compassionate approach has led to successful outcomes for many families. With years of life experience, legal experience and an intuitive and investigative mind, she has been able to assist in turning around cases for the benefit of our clients, simply because of uncovering facts about the other party, which undermines their credibility in Court. She drafts legal briefs from the heart and treats each case as though it was her own, fighting for children and parents to spend time together. Tristina is a single mother who raised three daughters. After working in law for over 25 years, she decided it was time to take the next step in becoming a lawyer. Tristina obtained her Bachelor's Degree at 48 years old from Purdue. Tristina just sat for the bar exam in February 2025 and while awaiting her results, works diligently and passionately on all of our cases to ensure the best results for each and every client. Tristina takes a unique approach because she understands the nature of people and their behavior in contentious matters, including the effects stress has on the mental health of various litigants such as those with narcissistic personality disorders and Bipolar disorder. Tristina has found that fathers oftentimes get alienated from children's lives over bitter breakups and false accusations by another parent. After seeing so many lives torn apart and children prevented from spending quality loving time with the other parent, she has focused her work on ensuring more work, laws and processes go into fairness and equal parenting, which is why she has launched the L.A. Coalition for Fair and Equal Parenting in the hopes of launching an office focusing on nothing other than equal and fair parenting (for both parents and children) in each and every county of California.

Weekly family law vlog highlighting pitfalls and problems (flaws) that take place in family law cases with live interviews, and a question/answer session. The focus of this vlog is to provide guidance but also to share war stories about litigants who have gone through a family law case in the California judicial system or who are currently faced with the issues of family law litigation so as to avoid issues that could cause detriment to one's position. The issues will highlight certain "dos" and "dont's" to avoid longterm negative impacts on your case which pertain to domestic violence and custody and visitation. Sometimes one simple bit of advice, if acted upon by a party prior to a court hearing, could have prevented the issuance of a bogus restraining order, or a devastating finanical order, or even worse, an adverse child custody ruling. It tends to be much more difficult getting out of a mess or undoing the damage done by a court ruling made while a party is in pro per, than it would have been just to proceed properly with a lawyer like Mr. Karney in the first place. Knowledge and advice is crucial during these lifechanging times. Divorce and splitting up can create irrational behavior. Knowing what to do or not to do prior to engaging in conduct, can result in saving time money and a ton of heartache.
